Despite some sound issues, America's concert at BB King's last week was a really good show. The boys' setlist spanned their entire career and included some of their greatest hits. The highlight for me was Maplewood joining them on the new tune "Indian Summer" (written by Maplewood's Mark Rozzo).
Similar to last June's show, the encore was a guest-laden version of "Horse With No Name" with members of both Maplewood and Nada Surf enthusiastically supporting Ger and Dew on their signature song.
The band's most recent effort, Here & Now (Sony / Burgundy Records), is in stores now. It's a solid album with many-a-guest paying tribute to one of America's legendary bands.
