Tasty Collab + Free Music = Good Times

Thomas Bartlett, aka Doveman, left details of what should be a great musical moment tonight on his blog.  Bartlett will be playing with Chocolate Genius at the New York Guitar Festival Opening Gala.  Tonight's event features many excellent performers celebrating the 25th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen's 'Nebraska' - it has been dubbed (as seen on the NYGF homepage):

The Nebraska Project featuring: All new interpretations of Springsteen classics performed by Michelle Shocked, Laura Cantrell, Dan Zanes, Vernon Reid (of Living Colour fame), The National, Otis Taylor, Chocolate Genius Inc., Mark Eitzel, Martha Wainwright, Jesse Harris, Kevn Kinney, Lenny Kaye, Gary Lucas, Marc Ribot, Harry Manx, and more... Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the classic Bruce Springsteen album, a distinctive roster of singer-songwriters, bands and instrumentalists perform their own arrangements of the album’s songs from start to finish. The event is free, with general admission seating, and will be hosted by John Platt, from WFUV’s “City Folk Sunday Breakfast.” Presented in association with WFUV Radio.
