So around 7ish tonight, this Blackberry commercial came on during the football game. I noticed it featured The Living Room in NYC, a place near and dear to me...as well as an amazing venue. Didn't know the band so I looked it up. Found out it was the Spring Standards and when I looked on their site, noticed they were playing a show in a hour near my house. One cab fare and a ticket and voila, i'm seeing the band live...because of a commercial.
The place was packed and the crowd was definitely into it. Really glad I went to check it out and rewarded my effort with a brand new CD.
