I Really, Really Dig This Track: The Sammies "Glisten"

           

A friend recently turned me on to a band called the Sammies from Charlotte, North Carolina.  Gotta say, it was love at first...bite?  Yes, bite.  I took a big, blind bite into their recent album, Sandwich and have not stopped devouring it in its entirety over and over and over again.  From the fantastic groove of "Glisten" to the fun "Ain't Easy" the Sammies prove that they are not crap.  I was blown away by a brilliant set of theirs during CMJ show at the MHOW as a part of the Brooklyn Vegan showcase.

As my friend became obsessed so have I, you should as well...decide to sit down and help yourself to some Sammies.  Go on, take a bite.
