Britta Persson - Rockwood Music Hall 07.03.07

It's hard to turn down a free show...especially when it is a singer with such a uniquely haunting voice.  Swedish singer-songwriter Britta Persson is the owner of that voice and she played her first show on US soil today at Rockwood Music Hall. 

Very unassuming she is...soft spoken.  Britta's strong suit is her voice which sounded great on "Winter Tour" and a couple new ones I didn't catch the name of.  If you dig non traditional pop in singer-songwriter form from a sweet sounding Swedish girl, check out Britta's second NYC and last US show this Friday at my favorite NYC venue the Living Room (set time 11:00pm).
